Taekwon-Do

Ages 13+

Founded by General Choi Hong Hi, Taekwon-Do is the military martial art of Korea. Designed for battlefield combat, its movements are designed to be destructive. Using your whole body behind each move. At Legacy, we teach authentic ITF Taekwon-Do which is the original form directly created in Korea.

Class Details:
Classes are 45 minutes. We believe being on time is crucial for the structure and consistency of the class environment. Students progress through a minimum 4-month testing cycle for new belts. While working toward their next goal students can earn progress stripes.

Wushu

Ages 13+

Contemporary Wushu is a Chinese Martial Art derived from the Shaolin Temple and the Chinese Theatre. It was made famous by famous actors Jet-Li, Donnie Yen, and Jackie Chan. Fast Connecting Movements that are explosive and rhythmic. Speed is Key!

Classes run for one hour. We believe being on time is crucial for the structure and consistency of the class environment. Students progress through a minimum 4-month testing cycle for new sashes.

Tai Chi

Ages 13+

Tai Chi is an internal form of Chinese martial arts. It’s an excellent way to increase your bodies physical health internally and externally. Tai Chi is great for stress relief and helping to achieve a balanced life all while strengthening parts of your body that tend to be overlooked. In addition to its health benefits, Tai Chi is a very effective form of self-defense that is hidden in its soft, smooth flowing movements. Tai Ji, through Qi Gong and meditation, is beneficial to your mental health as well as your physical health.

Class Details:
Classes run 30-minute sessions, twice a week. We believe being on time is crucial for the structure and consistency of the class environment. Students progress through a minimum 4-month testing cycle for new sashes.
